This adapter cable will adapt an old style transducer with an 8-pin "C" type female plug to a newer type fish finder which has a 10-pin male socket taking a 10 pin "D" female plug. The "C" and "D" refer to the last letter in Airmar's part number of the trasnducer. "C" is for 8 pin and "D" is for 10 pin.
